41Adjusting connection settings

Phone connections

Once you have inserted a SIM card, your smartphone will

automatically detect your network provider.

For all phone settings, tap

> Settings > Personal > Phone.

Here you can adjust ringtone, security, services, network and

B (Cell Broadcast) settings.

Selecting a network

You can set the smartphone to detect your network

automatically or set it manually.

Detecting a network automatically

1. Tap > Settings > Personal > Phone > Network tab.

2. Select Au

tomatic from the Network Selection list.

3. Tap F

ind Network. Your network will be automatically

detected.

Selecting a network manually

1. Tap > Settings > Personal > Phone > Network tab.

2. Select Ma

nual from the Network Selection list. A list of

available networks will appear.

3. Select a network from the list and tap OK.

When your current network is unavailable, tap Select to selec

another network to use.

Note: Contact your service provider should you have any problems

obtaining voice mail and the text message service center numbers.
