36 - PredatorSense
Overclocking
The GPU in your computer supports
overclocking; you may use PredatorSense to
boost graphics performance. Three levels are
available: Normal (no overclocking), Faster and
Turbo.
If the AC adapter is disconnected or if the
battery charge is lower than 40%, overclocking options will
be disabled.
Fan Control
You may adjust the performance of the fans
cooling your computer’s CPU and GPU. Choose
the suitable mode to fit your needs:
Auto (Silent)
Allows you to browse website or chat online
under lower fan speed.
Auto (Normal)
Allows you to use productivity tools more smoothly, like
Microsoft
®
Office.
Auto (CoolBoost™)
Allows you to increase fan speed beyond the normal
maximum speed when system is under heavy use, like
playing heavy games, live streaming or making rendering.
Acer is not responsible for any damage incurred from overclocking
if any third party tools are used to overclock the CPU or graphics
besides PredatorSense.
Your computer is designed to support GPU overclocking.
However, overclocking may result in system instability. If you
experience instability, shut down and restart your computer; it
will restart with default settings.
